Help: choose by your question

Asking who AI recommends is different from checking page structure. They require different evidence.

Updated October 9, 2026

Does AI recommend my brand?

Use “Does AI Recommend You?” on the homepage (GEO Audit Free Check). Enter a public official URL, select the market and start the check. Actual questions collect AI answers, limited to the stated model, questions and time.

Read the conclusion and source first, then the answers. Mention is not recommendation; category and brand questions are separate. 0% describes this sample, not every user’s experience.

Are my homepage signals complete?

Use the GEO Audit Sentinel Website AI Readability Check for nine public signals such as identity, structured data, language and machine-readable channels.

This is a static check, not an AI recommendation query. Missing markup does not establish that AI omitted a recommendation. Verify each reported item against the page.

Do page chunks preserve meaning?

Use the GEO Audit Sentinel Page Chunk & FAQ Structure Check with a public URL to inspect whether segments retain identity, context and complete information.

Rule-based chunk simulation is not the exact process of every search engine or model. Focus on passages that become unclear outside their surrounding context.

How can I check an article?

Use the GEO Audit Sentinel Article Content & Structure Check with a URL or authorized text. Inspect structure, opening answers and content risks; revise or export Markdown where offered.

This is a heuristic check, not scholarly fact verification or a prediction of citation probability. High scores do not guarantee citations; facts and sources still need human review.

Capabilities and limits FAQ

What is a GEO audit?

GEO Audit (Generative Engine Optimization Audit) is a system for measuring visibility and establishing source authority across large language models and AI search assistants. It evaluates whether a brand is accurately recognized and positively recommended in mainstream AI answer engines, and whether traffic interception or factual hallucination occurs. This is the single public definition used by GEO Audit Sentinel; it does not guarantee any ranking.

What can you help me do?

Inspect public pages, collect specified model answers, analyze visibility and sentiment within the sample, and provide reports, remediation artifacts and installation guidance. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you guarantee rankings?

No. GEO Audit Sentinel does not control model answers or promise first place or fixed positions; we deliver traceable evidence and improvement direction. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you guarantee a 50% improvement?

No advance guarantee. Define the metric, record a baseline and retest with the same model, questions and measurement method. A 50% relative improvement is not an increase of 50 percentage points. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you guarantee every AI recommends me?

No. Models, time, regions and wording affect answers; a sample does not represent every AI or user. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you guarantee more traffic or sales?

No. Recommendations, visits and purchases are separate stages; commercial outcomes require real operating data. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Do Schema or llms.txt guarantee indexing?

No. They clarify structure and sources but do not guarantee crawling, indexing, citations or recommendations. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you guarantee results within a week?

No fixed timeline. Readability changes can be inspected; model-side changes need retesting. Unmeasured improvements are not reported as results. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Does the report prove why a model omitted me?

Answers alone usually cannot establish causation. GEO Audit Sentinel separates observed evidence, possible causes and hypotheses that still need verification. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Can you solve every AI problem for me?

No. GEO Audit Sentinel focuses on GEO audits and AI opinion scanning, not legal advice, security certification or industry accreditation. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Does a high static score mean AI recommends me?

No. Static checks and real AI answers are different evidence and must be interpreted separately. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Do you take partner customers or report attribution?

No. Partners lead customer relationships and attribution; GEO Audit Sentinel provides technical support in collection and methodology. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Are the store observations customer case studies?

No. They describe observed phenomena and problems, disclose no customer data, represent no industry statistics and are not proof of results. This is a published GEO Audit Sentinel capability limit.

Optics and night vision: can you check whether AI mixes up technology names, parameters and model names?

GEO Audit Sentinel collects category questions separately from questions containing a model or brand name, then compares how names, parameters and model wording appear in each answer. We report only the confusion actually observed in the sample and do not infer that every model behaves the same.

Lighting: can you check whether specifications and use cases are described accurately?

GEO Audit Sentinel verifies the specifications, operating conditions and policy wording in public pages and inspects how the selected models restate them. Claims about light output, energy use or safety still need authoritative testing and standard texts; we do not replace certification.

Adult products: does a model refusal mean the brand is invisible?

No. Refusal, omission and lack of recommendation are three different observations and are counted separately. GEO Audit Sentinel records which questions produced refusals or short answers in which models; this shows answer behaviour in the sample, not that users cannot find the brand.

Balcony solar and storage: can you check the sources of compatibility and performance claims?

GEO Audit Sentinel checks the compatibility conditions, performance figures and their stated sources on the official site, and whether the selected models cite official sources. Grid connection, safety rules and certification follow local regulations and authoritative testing; we do not issue compliance rulings.

E-bikes and premium electric mountain bikes: can you check whether category and model get mixed up?

GEO Audit Sentinel separates how the category is described from how a specific model is mentioned, and reports confusion or omissions inside the sample. Specifications, range and price are compared against verified official materials; figures without a stated source are not written into conclusions.

Do you decide where “dupe” ends and “counterfeit” begins?

No. GEO Audit Sentinel reports what wording appears in public pages and model answers, whether it carries a source, and whether a similar style is presented as the same product. Whether trademark or design rights are infringed is decided by the brand and the law; we issue no legal opinion.

Problems we keep seeing in the evidence (no names)

These figures come only from real AI answers we have collected: 8 sites, 1,161 answers in total (4 more sites were profiled but have no answer evidence yet and are excluded). No site is named, and nothing here represents a whole industry; rule-based screening is marked as such and needs human review.

On category questions, is the brand simply never mentioned?

Yes, and it is not rare: 4 of the 8 sites had zero brand mentions across all answers (the largest sample was 339 answers, 0 mentions), and one more was mentioned once in 33. If buyers ask AI without the brand name, these sites do not exist. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

If not me, who is in the answer?

Competitors. On every one of the 8 sites, at least 79% of answers named other brands, up to 100%. The empty seat is always taken by someone else. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

Does AI cite the official site?

Mostly not. Only 3 of the 8 sites had their own domain among the most-cited sources; for the other 5, retailers, competitor sites and media led. The product is yours; the narrative is not. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

Does being mentioned mean being recommended or cited?

No. One site was mentioned in 26 of 30 answers, but its own domain was cited only 12 times. Mentions, recommendations and citations must be read separately. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

Is a well-known brand safe?

Not necessarily. One well-known site was mentioned in only 4 of 30 category answers. Fame in the trade does not mean AI recalls you on category questions. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

Where do adult products (adult toys) sites struggle?

Both such sites showed batches of refusals or very short answers under 200 characters (keyword-rule screening, needs human review), and one had zero brand mentions. Refusal and non-mention are different problems and must be counted separately. Figures come from GEO Audit Sentinel evidence on 8 sites; the sample is small and does not represent an industry.

Sharp questions only insiders ask

Outsiders rarely think of these, yet buyers and AI ask them. Each one states what we can and cannot check.

When buyers ask AI for a dupe, is the answer you or a copy?

GEO Audit Sentinel can run dupe/alternative questions and record who is named, whether a similar style is described as the same product, and whose pages are cited; whether it infringes is not ours to judge. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Models differ by one suffix: does AI put old specs on the new one?

GEO Audit Sentinel can collect answers per model and compare them with verified official specs, flagging mix-ups; specs the official site does not state are logged as missing. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Are your warranty and return terms cited from your site or from forums?

GEO Audit Sentinel can count the sources behind policy answers and flag statements that are not official, conflict with the official site, or have no source. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Across Chinese and English, does AI see the same company?

GEO Audit Sentinel can ask the same questions in different languages and compare company names, sites and ownership, flagging cases where you are mistaken for another firm or split in two. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

When AI refuses a sensitive category, does it refuse your compliant guide pages too?

GEO Audit Sentinel can ask about usage and selection separately from specific products and record which are refused; refusal reasons belong to model policy, and we only report observed behavior. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Certification numbers only in images: can machines read them?

GEO Audit Sentinel can check whether that information exists in the page text; items only in images are flagged as possibly unreadable, with a suggestion to add sourced text. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Does a retailer listing look more "official" than your own site?

GEO Audit Sentinel can measure how citations split between retailers and your site, and whose price and specs answers follow; this shows who holds the narrative, not where sales go. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Is AI still recommending your discontinued or renamed model?

GEO Audit Sentinel can ask using the old model name and see whether answers still recommend it or point to the successor; missing replacement notes on the official site are logged as missing. GEO Audit Sentinel checks this against evidence; it does not replace authoritative testing or legal judgement.

Sellers × platforms: an AI-era attack-and-defence scenario (reasoned inference, not fact)

Please read first: what follows is reasoned inference from existing facts. It does not mean these things have happened, nor that they are about to. No platform or seller is named, no platform policy is predicted, and nothing here is legal advice or a ranking promise.

The only established fact: in our evidence, most sites’ own websites were not among the most-cited sources. Everything else is inference, and each item states what we can and cannot check. To look for yourself, try the free Does AI Recommend You? and Website AI Readability Check.

Platform’s move: storefront and category pages are tidy; will AI prefer them and push the seller’s own site back?

Inference: clear, frequently updated pages are easier for machines to read and cite. The only established fact: in our evidence, only 3 of 8 sites had their own website among the most-cited sources. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: use the free Does AI Recommend You? to see who gets named, then the Website AI Readability Check for your site’s nine public signals. We cannot check: how a platform ranks internally.

A buyer asks AI where to find a product or supplier and gets only “search on a platform”; the seller’s name vanishes. Who wins?

Inference: convenient for the buyer, but the channel absorbs the entrance. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: in an authorized audit, count brand mentions and channel mentions separately; a mention is not a recommendation. We cannot check: whether this is intentional; we do not judge intent.

Inquiry, logistics and chat tools keep buyers inside the platform. Does that affect what AI says?

Inference: AI cannot see private in-platform chats, only public pages; what is not public effectively does not exist. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: whether your site exposes machine-readable organization and contact information, using the Website AI Readability Check. We cannot check: in-platform conversations or internal data.

The platform profile and the seller’s site disagree on credentials, capacity or MOQ. Which does AI trust?

Inference: whichever reads clearer and more like first-hand information may be trusted, not necessarily the truthful one. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: after collection, compare where the numbers in answers come from; use the Page Chunk & FAQ Structure Check to see whether these facts stay clear after chunking. We cannot check: which side is correct; that needs the seller’s own proof.

Buyer reviews and Q&A on a platform get paraphrased by AI while the seller cannot speak. What now?

Inference: reviews are third-party content, and paraphrases often lose context. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: the sources behind policy and reputation answers, flagging non-official ones; then use the Article Content & Structure Check to see whether your Q&A pages are easy to cite. We cannot check: whether reviews are genuine.

Seller’s defence #1: establish the official site by writing company identity and certificate numbers as text, not images, plus entity markup. Does it help?

Inference: it is the cheapest way to let machines see who you are and what you said, with no promise of being recommended. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: Organization markup, llms.txt and robots.txt using the Website AI Readability Check. We cannot check: whether AI recommends you because of it; we promise no ranking.

Seller’s defence #2: use FAQ and guides for expert questions the platform does not answer (MOQ, process, certification wording). Viable?

Inference: platform pages aim to be generic, so expert answers often must come from the seller. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: structure and content risks with the Article Content & Structure Check, and whether each chunk still carries subject and context with the Page Chunk & FAQ Structure Check. We cannot check: how much traffic this brings.

Seller counter-move vs platform counter-measure: the seller points buyers to its own site, the platform restricts off-platform contact. Who has the upper hand?

Inference: a rules game, where the seller’s risk is breaching platform terms. GEO Audit Sentinel does not interpret terms; read the platform rules first and never present redirection as guaranteed. We can check: whether public information on your site is complete and readable. We cannot check: how rules are enforced or whether they change.

A seller on several platforms faces exclusive perks or ranking rule changes. Where should the first-hand source live?

Inference: platform rules change; your own site is the one place you can control long-term. GEO Audit Sentinel can check: in an authorized audit, re-test under the same conditions and keep before/after evidence; meanwhile start with the free tools. We cannot check: future platform rules; we promise no ranking or sales.

Industry questions: physical goods and hardware

These questions come from patterns seen across categories and show what to ask first. They are not customer cases, name no brand and do not claim any industry behaves this way; every conclusion still depends on your site, the selected models and the evidence stored for this check.

E-cigarettes and vaping devices: are flavour, ingredient and age-restriction statements restated accurately?

GEO Audit Sentinel checks the trial length, feature limits and data retention period stated in public pages, and whether model answers cite the official terms. Quota numbers without a source are not written into conclusions. GEO Audit Sentinel reports only answers observed in the sample.

Common questions

Why is it cached?

An earlier result is being reused, not a new model query. Check the source and detection time. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.

Will failures rerun silently?

Billable AI calls do not automatically retry or silently switch models. Read the error before choosing a manual rerun. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.

What if the URL fails?

Check public accessibility. Login-only, restricted or script-dependent pages may not be fully readable; do not bypass restrictions. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.

Do free tools need sign-in?

The four public tools do not. Member history, partner tasks and private reports require appropriate account permissions. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.

Member or partner?

Members use /member; partners use /partner. Administrators configure partner task/report permissions; membership alone does not grant full audits. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.

How do I contact you?

Click the header contact icon or footer contact entry. QR codes never open automatically and following us is not required to see results. This is a standard GEO Audit Sentinel handling rule.
